An exquisite early 20th-century emerald and diamond brooch. Adorning the centre is a 1.60ct step cut Columbian emerald in a four prong yellow gold mount, displaying a vibrant green hue with even saturation and excellent transparency. Complementing the emerald are 24 bright and lively old European cut diamonds set in a target design with an approximate weight of 12.40cts, predominately G-H colour and VS-SI clarity. The versatile piece has a detachable brooch fitting allowing it to be worn as a pendant. The brooch measures 3.20cm in diameter and has a gross weight of 14.33 grams.
